I never lose sight of the fact that most people are affected by cancer in some way—personally, as a caregiver to a family member or friend, or from losing someone they love. As a scientist, I am dedicated to helping them by designing and conducting research that can be used to support health policies that can improve cancer survival and better ensure that patients and their families can maximize quality of life.”
