Shu Liu, PhD, serves as a post-doctoral fellow in the Health Services Research team, Surveillance & Health Equity Science department at the American Cancer Society (快猫短视频). He collaborates with other 快猫短视频 researchers and with scientists at other organizations on initiatives focusing on the economic challenges faced by cancer survivors.
Liu’s research focuses on utilizing machine learning techniques to examine big data related to the receipt of cancer care, treatment patterns, and outcomes, as well as on key drivers of the social determinants of health.
He is also interested in the financial hardships experienced by cancer survivors and their families, and the associated adverse health outcomes. For the initial starting period of his postdoctoral fellowship, his research projects include :
